Forgiveness

Like an endless warm hug, forgiveness fills our life with joy.
It's free, it's simple. But not everyone can take pleasure in such wonderful gift.
The weak, the vulnerable can never forgive. Forgiveness is only an attribute of the strong.
When you forgive it's almost as if you were setting a prisoner free.. then discovering that the prisoner was you.

A New Era

The year was 2081, the earth was not even the shadow of what I remembered. Cars, forget that. Skycars are the new thing. Iphones? What are those? There now exist the portable laptop/phone called "The Visioner" able to listen to any commands and put them to actions within seconds! I can't believe how changed everything looks, how different everything is. Green is out, blue is in.

Hey Mom! Oh yeah, I almost forgot I think I broke my arm..

It was a warm night with almost no breeze, I knew it was time to go inside and get ready for bed but the truth is I much rather play with my friends, I mean I was only eight. Five minutes past and I was still begging my mom to let me go to my friend/neighbor's house and see her puppy. All of the other girls were going too! There was no way that I was going to miss out, no way! At last thankfully my mom gave in, little did I know that out of all the cheering misery was about to come. No, we did not go to her house. Instead we all decided to play and wander in the neighborhood.. WHEN BAM! There it was.. That poor kitty just resting in the streets, as we got near we realized that it was dead!!!! My heart started racing a million miles per hour, fear and panic overpowered me AND my friends. We raced back home running as fast as we could, let me just give you a tip NEVER run in flip flops… My friend Ana Paula and I tumbled over ourselves mainly because I tripped and after our feet tangled which resulted to the fatal fall on top of my arm. This is probably the most painful experience I have ever gone through, tears filled my eyes to the point that everything was really blurry but on top of that the worst part was that after all that begging I had to tell my mom! There is nothing in the world that could prepare me for all the "I told you sos" backed up by her piercing voice. At the end a lesson is learned, listen to your mom and don't let other people's decision interfere with your actions otherwise you could end up with a broken arm or worse.
